SSIPMT Raipur Organizes IGS Webinar on “Soil Exploration”
Raipur, September 11, 2026: The Department of Civil Engineering, Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management & Technology (SSIPMT), Raipur, in association with the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) Student Chapter, organized an informative webinar on “Soil Exploration” on September 11, 2026.
The session was delivered by Dr. Tarun Kumar Rajak, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Civil Engineering, SSIPMT Raipur, who shared valuable insights into the importance of soil exploration in geotechnical engineering and infrastructure development.
The webinar focused on various soil investigation techniques, subsurface exploration methods, soil sampling procedures, and their significance in determining soil properties for safe and economical foundation design.
