Raipur, August 19, 2026: The AWS Student Builder Group was officially launched at Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management & Technology (SSIPMT), Raipur, on August 19, 2026. The initiative aims to provide students with a collaborative platform to explore Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Web Development, DevOps, and emerging technologies.
The session was led by Faij Waris, Leader – AWS Student Builder Group, who introduced students to the AWS ecosystem and highlighted the growing importance of cloud technologies in the modern technology industry.
Introduction to AWS Services
During the session, students were introduced to several key AWS services, including Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon VPC, Amazon CloudFront, AWS IAM, and Amazon Bedrock.
Students learned how these services are used for application deployment, cloud storage, database management, serverless computing, networking, security, and Generative AI applications.
Focus on Practical Learning
The AWS Student Builder Group aims to promote a Learn → Build → Collaborate → Deploy → Share approach among students. The group will organize technical sessions, workshops, hands-on activities, project-building initiatives, discussions, and other community-driven activities.
Through these initiatives, students will have opportunities to deploy academic and personal projects on the cloud, explore AI/ML and DevOps technologies, and develop industry-relevant technical skills.
Building Future-Ready Skills
The launch marks an important step toward creating a student-driven technical community at SSIPMT. The group will encourage students to explore career opportunities in Cloud Computing, DevOps, AI/ML, Backend Development, Data Analytics, and Cloud Security.
The session concluded with students being encouraged to explore AWS services and apply their knowledge through practical projects.
