Raipur, October 5, 2026: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management and Technology (SSIPMT), Raipur, successfully organised the Programming Contest 2026 under the aegis of the Computer Society of India (CSI). The competition brought together 26 participants to demonstrate their programming proficiency, logical reasoning, algorithmic thinking and coding efficiency.
Two-Round Contest Tests Programming Skills
The contest was conducted in two rounds to evaluate participants’ coding abilities and problem-solving approaches. The preliminary round assessed their programming fundamentals and logical thinking, with 12 participants qualifying for the final round.
The final round provided an opportunity for the shortlisted participants to demonstrate their coding efficiency and approach to programming challenges. The contest encouraged students to apply their technical knowledge, develop effective solutions and strengthen their ability to tackle complex problems.
Abhijeet Mishra Secures First Position
Abhijeet Mishra secured first position in the competition and received a cash prize of Rs. 3,000. Dujram Sahu was declared the runner-up, receiving a cash prize of Rs. 2,000.

The achievements recognised the participants’ programming skills, logical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.

The Programming Contest 2026 provided students with valuable exposure to practical programming challenges and encouraged innovation, coding excellence and healthy competition. By testing their skills in a competitive environment, the event helped participants build confidence, sharpen their technical abilities and strengthen their readiness for future academic and professional opportunities.
