Raipur, August 25, 2026: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management & Technology (SSIPMT), Raipur, in association with the Computer Science Association (CSA) and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully organised a Digital Poster Making Competition on August 25, 2026, at Lab 2, Academic Block, SSIPMT, Raipur.
Conducted under the theme “Creativity, Innovation & Digital Design,” the competition provided students with a platform to showcase their creativity, originality, digital design skills and ability to communicate ideas effectively through visual media. A total of 31 participants took part in the event, which was coordinated by Mr. Prakashmani Awasthi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
Three Themes Encouraging Digital Creativity
The competition encouraged students to explore contemporary ideas and present their perspectives through engaging and visually appealing digital posters. Participants could choose from three themes:
- AI in Everyday Life
- My Dream Smart City
- Technology: Making Life Better
These themes invited students to consider how emerging technologies and innovative solutions can improve everyday life, shape future urban environments and address real-world challenges.

Participants used appropriate digital poster-making and design software to develop their concepts. The activity provided an opportunity to combine creative thinking with digital tools while developing effective visual communication techniques.
Competition Begins with Instructions and Guidelines
The programme commenced with an inauguration and welcome session, followed by an event overview and instructions session. Participants were briefed on the competition guidelines, available themes, evaluation criteria and submission procedure.
Following the briefing, students worked on their digital posters, focusing on originality, visual appeal, relevance to their selected themes and clarity of message. The competition encouraged participants to translate their ideas into compelling visual representations using digital design techniques.
Judges Evaluate Creativity and Visual Communication
After the welcome and introduction of the judges, the evaluation process began. The submitted posters were assessed on the basis of creativity, originality, visual presentation, relevance to the chosen theme and effectiveness in communicating the intended message.

A final evaluation and discussion among the judges followed, during which the overall quality and merits of the entries were considered before the results were finalised.
The event proceeded to the result declaration and prize distribution ceremony, where the winning participants were recognised and appreciated for their creative efforts and innovative ideas. The names of the judges and winners were not included in the event information provided.
Promoting Digital Design Skills and Innovative Thinking
The Digital Poster Making Competition served as an engaging co-curricular activity that encouraged students to strengthen their digital design capabilities, critical thinking, originality, visual communication and problem-solving skills.
By exploring themes related to Artificial Intelligence, Smart Cities and technology-driven solutions, participants gained an opportunity to express their ideas creatively while considering the practical impact of technology on society.
The competition also highlighted the value of combining technical awareness with creativity and effective communication—skills that are increasingly relevant in academic, professional and technology-oriented environments.
The programme concluded with an ending note and feedback session, during which participants shared their experiences and reflections. The organisers expressed their appreciation to all participants, judges, faculty members and coordinators whose contributions supported the successful conduct of the event.
Overall, the competition reinforced SSIPMT Raipur’s efforts to encourage student creativity, digital proficiency and innovation through meaningful academic and co-curricular activities.
