The programme began with a warm welcome, followed by flag hoisting, the National Anthem, and a rendition of Vande Mataram, setting a patriotic tone for the celebrations.
The highlight of the event was the energetic cultural performances presented by the students, which reflected their creativity, confidence, and artistic talent.
The anchoring of the programme was led by Ms. Sakshi Giri, Faculty, SSIPS, along with Suyashi Shrivastava (5th Semester, Data Science, B.Tech), Ankit Kumar Singh (5th Semester, AIML, B.Tech), and Kripa Raichura (5th Semester, CSE-AI, B.Tech). Their confident and engaging presentation kept the audience connected throughout the programme.
Captivating Singing Performances
The singing segment emerged as one of the major attractions of the celebration. Students from different semesters and programmes came together to present a series of melodious performances, adding an emotional and patriotic dimension to the event.
Their performances received an enthusiastic response from the audience and added a soulful touch to the Independence Day celebrations.
Energetic Group Dance Performance
The group dance performance by JSCN students was another major highlight of the programme. Priya, Dimpal, Pallavi, Aastha, Sakshi, Ragini, Khushbu, Seema, and Vedika delivered a vibrant and synchronized performance that filled the campus with energy and enthusiasm.
Powerful Solo Dance Performance
The solo dance performance by Aastha from SSIPS also drew considerable appreciation. Her confident stage presence, expressive movements, and energetic performance added another memorable moment to the cultural programme.
Inspiring Addresses
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Alok Jain, Principal, SSIPMT, spoke about the significance of Independence Day and the role of young people in nation-building.
Nishant Tripathi encouraged students to understand the true values of freedom and contribute responsibly to the progress of the nation. He emphasized that the future of the country rests in the hands of its youth and that education must be accompanied by values, discipline, and a sense of responsibility. He urged students to use their knowledge and talents for the advancement of society and the nation.
The programme was also graced by Dr. Nalnesh Sharma, Founder, Mission Nirmaya, as the Guest of Honour. In his inspiring address, he encouraged students to move forward with positive thinking and understand their responsibilities towards society.
Ms. Anita Biju Varghese, Principal, JSCN, also shared her thoughts on the occasion.
The celebration concluded with prize distribution and recognition of achievements in various activities, followed by a vote of thanks.
The 80th Independence Day celebration at SSIPMT was not only a tribute to the nation’s freedom but also a platform for students to showcase their talent, confidence, creativity, teamwork, and patriotic spirit. The vibrant performances and inspiring messages made the celebration a memorable and meaningful occasion for the entire SSIPMT, SSIPS, and JSCN community.
