Raipur, August 21, 2026: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), SSIPMT Raipur, organised a workshop on “Using AI for Fundraising & Investor Pitch Preparation” on August 21, 2026. The hybrid-mode programme aimed to familiarise participants with the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in fundraising, startup development, business communication and investor pitch preparation.
The workshop provided insights into how AI-powered tools can help entrepreneurs explore fundraising opportunities, conduct market research, develop business ideas and prepare effective presentations for potential investors.
Workshop Explores AI Tools for Fundraising
The programme began with a welcome address and opening remarks, followed by an introduction to the resource person. The first technical session, “AI for Fundraising – Opportunities, Tools & Strategies,” focused on the use of AI in identifying fundraising opportunities, analysing market information and supporting strategic decision-making.

Participants explored how AI-based tools can assist entrepreneurs in gathering relevant information, understanding business opportunities and strengthening their fundraising strategies. The session highlighted the growing importance of technology-driven approaches in startup development and entrepreneurial planning.
AI-Powered Investor Pitch Preparation
The second technical session, “AI-Powered Investor Pitch Preparation & Presentation,” focused on using AI tools to create structured, clear and impactful investor pitches.
Participants learned how AI can support the organisation of business ideas, refinement of pitch content and preparation of professional presentations. The session also emphasised the importance of communicating business propositions effectively to potential investors.
These insights helped participants understand how AI can support the presentation of business ideas, improve communication and strengthen preparation for fundraising opportunities.
Interactive Session Highlights Practical Applications
The technical sessions were followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, during which participants discussed their queries and explored practical applications of AI in fundraising and investor communication.
The programme concluded with key takeaways and participant feedback, followed by a vote of thanks and closing remarks. The discussions reinforced the importance of using AI tools effectively and responsibly in entrepreneurship, business development and innovation-related activities.
96 Participants Gain Insights into AI-Driven Entrepreneurship
The workshop witnessed the participation of 76 students and 20 faculty members, bringing the total number of participants to 96.
The programme enhanced participants’ understanding of AI applications in fundraising and startup development. It also encouraged them to explore AI-assisted strategies for business communication, investor pitch preparation and entrepreneurial problem-solving.

Through this initiative, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Institution’s Innovation Council at SSIPMT Raipur reinforced their commitment to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and technology-driven learning.
The workshop served as a valuable platform for students and faculty members to explore how Artificial Intelligence can support startup ideas, improve investor communication and contribute to the development of an innovation-oriented entrepreneurial ecosystem.
