Raipur, September 1, 2026: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management & Technology (SSIPMT), Raipur, organised a one-day Competitive Guidance Session for third-semester students. The offline programme brought together 47 student participants for focused guidance on career planning, recruitment preparation and professional development.
The two-hour-and-fifteen-minute session was conducted by Mr. Deepak Rao Khadatkar, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SSIPMT Raipur. It aimed to help students understand competitive recruitment processes, recognise their strengths and areas for improvement, and develop a structured approach to preparing for future placement opportunities.
Preparing Students for Competitive Recruitment
The session focused on helping students understand industry expectations and the skills required to navigate an increasingly competitive job market. Participants were encouraged to begin career preparation early, set clear goals and follow a personalised preparation plan aligned with their interests and professional aspirations.
