Raipur, September 29, 2026: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and the Centre of Excellence (COE), in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), at Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management & Technology (SSIPMT), Raipur, successfully organised NoteCraft – One-Page Digital Learning Resource Competition on September 29, 2026, at Computer Lab 3, SSIPMT, Raipur.
Held under the theme “Transforming Concepts into One-Page Digital Learning Resources,” the competition provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their technical understanding, creativity, originality and visual communication skills. The event focused on helping students transform complex technical concepts into concise, well-structured and visually appealing learning resources for quick reference.
The competition was conducted under the coordination of Mr. Prakashmani Awasthi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
Exploring Emerging Technologies Through NoteCraft
The NoteCraft competition encouraged students to select relevant technical topics and present essential information in a simple, organised and engaging one-page format. The participating resources covered three broad areas:
- Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI and Machine Learning
- Emerging Tools, Frameworks and Libraries
- Modern Software Development and Deployment

These areas enabled students to explore contemporary technologies while developing the ability to identify and communicate the most important information about a technical concept.
Participants were encouraged to create informative learning sheets incorporating concise definitions, key concepts, commands and syntax, code snippets, workflows, diagrams, examples, use cases and practical tips. By combining technical content with effective visual design, students aimed to make their resources useful for revision, learning and quick technical reference.
Competition Begins with Guidelines and Instructions
The programme commenced with an inauguration and welcome session, followed by an event overview and instructions session. Participants were briefed on the competition guidelines, selected topic areas, evaluation criteria, submission requirements and the one-page format.

The technical resource creation activity followed, during which participants used suitable digital design and documentation tools to prepare their NoteCraft sheets. The format encouraged students to prioritise relevant information, maintain clarity and organise technical material effectively within a limited space.
The activity also highlighted the importance of presenting information accurately without compromising readability or essential technical details.
Judges Evaluate Technical Accuracy and Creative Presentation
Following the welcome and introduction of the judges, the submitted NoteCraft resources underwent evaluation. The entries were assessed on several key parameters, including:
- Technical accuracy and content quality
- Relevance to the selected topic
- Visual organisation and design
- Clarity and conciseness
- Creativity and originality
- Overall learning impact
A final evaluation and discussion among the judges followed. The discussion focused on the technical merit, creativity, organisation and effectiveness of the submitted resources before the results were finalised.
The programme then proceeded to the result declaration and prize distribution ceremony, where the winning participants were recognised for their technical understanding, creative efforts and innovative presentation of technical concepts. The names of the judges and winners were not included in the event information provided.
Strengthening Technical Learning and Digital Communication
NoteCraft served as a technical and creative co-curricular activity that encouraged students to develop skills beyond conventional technical learning. By converting complex information into a concise one-page format, participants practised identifying essential concepts, structuring information, simplifying explanations and communicating technical knowledge effectively.
The competition also promoted critical thinking, digital design, originality and attention to detail. Preparing quick-reference resources offered students an opportunity to explore emerging technologies while creating materials that could support learning and revision.
The emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, software development tools and deployment practices further encouraged students to engage with evolving technology trends and present their understanding in an accessible format.
Encouraging Innovation Through Concise Learning Resources
The event concluded with an ending note and feedback session, providing participants with an opportunity to share their experiences and reflections. The organisers expressed their appreciation to the participants, judges, faculty members and coordinators for their valuable contributions to the successful conduct of the competition.
Overall, NoteCraft – One-Page Digital Learning Resource Competition promoted technical learning, creative communication and innovative thinking among students at SSIPMT Raipur. The initiative highlighted how effective digital design and concise content can transform technical knowledge into accessible and practical learning resources.
